Paraben is a variant of kerosene that is used as an antiseptic preservative in cosmetics and food (coded E214, E219 in the food industry) to prevent deterioration of products.

Parabens are currently prohibited as following:

 isopropylparaben

 isobutylparaben

 phenylparaben

 benzylparaben

 pentylparaben.

Many studies by the French Safety and Health Administration suggest that parabens act like women's estrogen, so they can disrupt hormonal balance and they can cause dermatitis. In 2005, it was discovered in female breast cancer, causing early symptoms of menopause and osteoporosis.

Propylparaben has been shown to decrease male fertility in a study by S. Oishi of the Tokyo Institute of Public Health "Effects of propylparaben on the male reproductive system".

In addition, another study also shows that Butylparaben can cause a decrease in sperm volume and affect the normal functioning of the sperm. Methylparaben promotes aging under the sun.

Currently the Ministry of Health has banned the use of parabens in products, but many products are still widely sold on the market, currently up to 75-90% of cosmetic chemical products contain parabens, so consumers should carefully read ingredients on labels of products.

With scientific recommendations, consumers become aware of the dangers of paraben and tend to use paraben-free products (paraben free or no paraben).

Docilee baby liquid detergent understands the dangers and says NO to the substances of Parabens, and is committed to providing babies with the mildest and safest products.
